This morning at 10:00, we visited the Sanctuary of Saint Philomena. The rector, Don Giuseppe Autorino, guided us in discovering the beauties of the Sanctuary, among art, history, and spirituality, telling us about the life and miracles of the little Saint.

May 26, 2024 - Inauguration and presentation of the painting by artist Prisco De Vivo dedicated to Blessed Pauline Jaricot, healed through the intercession of Saint Philomena in 1835 at the sanctuary of Mugnano del Cardinale.

24-05-2024 A meeting at the roots of our history with Saint Philomena
Today the rector Don Giuseppe Autorino, accompanied by Domenico Gerolino and Antonia Mancaniello, members of the Pastoral Council, welcomed 300 students from "I.C. Alessandro Manzoni" of Mugnano del Cardinale. Thanks to the principal Luigia Conte and all her teaching staff.

The Feast of the Patronage of Saint Philomena is a moment of great devotion in which the community gathers in the Sanctuary to celebrate the Saint and invoke her intercession. The presence of Bishop Marino gives the celebration a solemn tone and great spirituality.
August 2023. Bicentenary of the miracle of the ancient statue of Saint Philomena.
25-05-2023. Historic day for Mugnano del Cardinale: Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle arrived at the Sanctuary on the anniversary of the discovery of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena.
10 MAY 2023. Pope Francis blessed the statue of Saint Philomena, which was donated to the Sanctuary in 1806 by Cardinal Luigi Ruffo Scilla, Archbishop of Naples.
