The Pilgrim's House
The Casa del Pellegrino is a comfortable pilgrimage center able to accommodate devotees who wish to spend some time with Saint Philomena, as well as ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. This Center, easily accessible even for people with disabilities, thanks to its family atmosphere is more like a home than a hotel and is coordinated by a team of helpers. All rooms are well furnished and clean, and most are equipped with a private bathroom. The quality/price ratio is excellent. Family rooms, double, matrimonial, and single rooms for clergy are available. An elevator, also usable by people with disabilities, allows easy access to all floors. Meals, served in the large refectory, offer an excellent opportunity to enjoy wonderful Neapolitan cuisine.
The Sanctuary of Saint Philomena is in an ideal location to reach, in just a few minutes, the cities of Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and, for nature lovers, Vesuvius and its network of trails. For groups of visitors staying at least four days, it is possible to organize (for a fee) a coach and/or guided tours to Rome, Monte Cassino, San Giovanni Rotondo, and Amalfi; however, everything must be communicated at the time of booking the pilgrimage. If you intend to visit the Sanctuary during the celebrations of Saint Philomena, in the month of August, please book well in advance.
