TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION IN HONOUR OF SAINT PHILOMENA, an invitation to be light in the darkness. As every year, and eight have already passed, on 31 August the torchlight procession is held in honour of Saint Philomena, organised by the first team of battenti. For this event, which officially closes the celebrations in honour of the Saint, in the church of Maria S. S. del Carmine the faithful gathered, to whom the torches were given and, after distribution, were lit. The devotional procession sets off in prayer towards the Sanctuary, led by the banner of the Universal Archconfraternity, in communion with the worldwide Philomenian family, accompanied by the Rector, guardian of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena, Don Giuseppe Autorino. The main road linking the two churches is followed, via Nazionale delle Puglie and viale De Lucia, and, besides the torches that the faithful carry in their hands with devotion, other lanterns, placed on the ground along the sides of the road, light up the whole route, making the moment even more evocative. Reaching the start of the avenue, we line up on both sides and begin the climb towards the Sanctuary. Thus a luminous trail is formed that lights up the night and kindles in hearts the light of hope. Before entering the sacred place, the Rector Don Giuseppe invites us to pray even more intensely and says these words: "the light represents our faith, which must always be bright to illuminate ourselves and others". Once inside the Sanctuary, Don Giuseppe bestows upon all those present the Holy blessing with the oldest relic of Saint Philomena kept in the Sanctuary. We members of the Archconfraternity Centre zero of Mugnano del Cardinale, together with a delegation of the Archconfraternity Centre 66 of Salerno and province, thank the first team of battenti who allowed us to live this beautiful moment of Philomenian spirituality and unites us ever more under the Patronage of the Saint, making us even more a family. PROCESSION AUX FLAMBEAUX EN L'HONNEUR DE SAINTE PHILOMÈNE, une invitation à être lumière dans l'obscurité. Pour cet événement, qui clôture officiellement les festivités en l'honneur de la Sainte, les fidèles se sont rassemblés dans l'église Maria S. S. del Carmine, à laquelle des torches ont été données et allumées après distribution. La procession dévotionnelle s'est mise en marche dans la prière vers le Sanctuaire, avec en tête la bannière de l'Archiconfraternité Universelle, en communion avec la famille mondiale de Filomena, accompagnée par le Recteur, gardien du Corps Sacré de Sainte Filomena, Don Giuseppe Autorino. La route principale qui relie les deux églises, Via Nazionale delle Puglie et Viale De Lucia, est parcourue et, en plus des torches que les fidèles portent à la main avec dévotion, d'autres lanternes, placées au sol sur les côtés de la route, illuminent tout le parcours, rendant le moment encore plus évocateur. Lorsque nous arrivons au début de l'avenue, nous nous plaçons des deux côtés et commençons à monter vers le sanctuaire. Une traînée de lumière se forme alors, illuminant la nuit et allumant la lumière de l'espoir dans les cœurs. Avant d'entrer dans le lieu saint, le recteur Don Giuseppe nous invite à prier encore plus intensément et prononce ces mots : "la lumière représente notre foi, qui doit toujours être vive pour nous éclairer et éclairer les autres". En entrant dans le Sanctuaire, Don Giuseppe donne la Sainte Bénédiction à toutes les personnes présentes avec la plus ancienne relique de Sainte Philomène conservée dans le Sanctuaire. Nous, membres de l'Archiconfraternité Centro Zero de Mugnano del Cardinale, ainsi qu'une représentation de l'Archiconfraternité Centro 66 de Salerne et de la province, remercions la première équipe qui nous a permis de vivre ce beau moment de spiritualité de Filomena et de nous unir de plus en plus sous le patronage de la Sainte, faisant de nous une famille encore plus grande. PROCISSÃO DAS TOCHAS EM HONRA DE SANTA FILOMENA, um convite a ser luz na escuridão. Como todos os anos, já são oito, a procissão das tochas em honra de Santa Filomena realiza-se no dia 31 de agosto, organizada pela primeira equipa de batedores. Para este evento, que encerra oficialmente as festividades em honra da Santa, os fiéis reuniram-se na igreja de Maria S. S. del Carmine, a quem foram doadas tochas que foram acesas depois de distribuídas. A procissão devocional partiu em oração em direção ao Santuário, encabeçada pelo estandarte da Arquiconfraria Universal, em comunhão com a família Filomena de todo o mundo, acompanhada pelo Reitor, guardião do Sagrado Corpo de Santa Filomena, Don Giuseppe Autorino. A estrada principal que une as duas igrejas, Via Nazionale delle Puglie e Viale De Lucia, é percorrida e, além das tochas que os fiéis carregam nas mãos com devoção, outras lanternas, colocadas no chão nas laterais da estrada, iluminam todo o percurso, tornando o momento ainda mais sugestivo. Quando chegamos ao início da avenida, colocamo-nos de ambos os lados e iniciamos a subida em direção ao santuário. Forma-se assim um rasto de luz que ilumina a noite e acende a luz da esperança nos corações. Antes de entrar no lugar santo, o reitor Don Giuseppe convida-nos a rezar ainda mais intensamente e pronuncia estas palavras: "a luz representa a nossa fé, que deve ser sempre brilhante para nos iluminar a nós e aos outros". Ao entrar no Santuário, Don Giuseppe dá a Santa Bênção a todos os presentes com a relíquia mais antiga de Santa Filomena conservada no Santuário. Nós, membros da Arquiconfraria Centro Zero de Mugnano del Cardinale, juntamente com uma representação da Arquiconfraria Centro 66 de Salerno e província, agradecemos à primeira equipa que nos permitiu viver este belo momento da espiritualidade de Filomena e unir-nos cada vez mais sob o patrocínio da Santa, tornando-nos ainda mais família.
