Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua
The feast of Saint Anthony begins on the Sunday before June 13th, with the solemn enthronement of the statue of the Saint, which is displayed at the foot of the main altar. The following week sees the faithful engaged in daily celebrations in His honor. The following Sunday, the statue of Saint Anthony is carried in procession through the main streets of the town. During these days of prayer, civil celebrations also take place in the square in front of the Sanctuary.
It is a festival that opens the summer season with the various celebrations that will follow in honor of Our Lady of Grace and Saint Philomena.
