The Pilgrim's House
The Pilgrim's House is a comfortable and capable pilgrimage center for devotees who wish to spend some time together with St. Philomena as well as ideal for those who seek tranquility and silence. This Center, which is easy to access even for people with disabilities, is more like a home than a hotel due to its family atmosphere and is coordinated by a team of helpers. All rooms are well furnished and clean, and most have private bathrooms. The value for money is excellent. Family, twin, double and single rooms are available for clergy. An elevator, which can also be used by people with disabilities, provides easy access to all floors. Meals, served in the large refectory, provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy wonderful Neapolitan cuisine.
The Sanctuary of Saint Philomena is in an ideal location to reach the cities of Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and, for nature lovers, Mount Vesuvius and its network of trails within minutes. For groups of visitors who stay overnight for at least four days, a coach and/or guided tours to Rome, Monte Cassino, San Giovanni Rotondo and Amalfi can be arranged (for a fee); however, this must be communicated when booking the pilgrimage. If you were planning to visit the shrine during the celebrations of St. Philomena in August, please make reservations well in advance.
