The Feast of the Patronage of Saint Philomena is a moment of great devotion when the community gathers at the shrine to celebrate the Saint and invoke her intercession. The presence of Bishop Marino lends the celebration a solemn and highly spiritual tone.
August 2023, Bicentenary of the miracle of the ancient statue of St Philomena.
25-05-2023. Dayhistoric day for Mugnano del Cardinale: Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle arrived at the Sanctuary on the anniversary of the discovery of the Sacred Body of Saint Philomena.
10 MAY 2023. Pope Francis blessed the statue of St Philomena that was donated to the shrine in 1806 by Cardinal Luigi Ruffo Scilla, Archbishop of Naples.
