Saint Philomena, a great example of virtue and courage. A serene day, even if accompanied by unceasing rain. As soon as we crossed the threshold of the Shrine of Saint Philomena we were filled with a sense of peace and deep spirituality. With the guidance of Don Giuseppe AUTORINO we retraced the fascinating story of this young girl who lived in the 3rd century A.D., shrouded in mystery as to her existence, yet who worked many miracles such as that of Blessed Paulina Jaricot and the Holy Curé of Ars. Personally I can say, and I believe it is the thought of all those who were present, Saint Philomena is a great example of virtue and courage who showed, despite her tender age, such ardor and love for Jesus. I was truly fascinated and I invite everyone to visit the Shrine that keeps the little body of this Saint. During the celebration of Holy Mass, the Carabinieri Association of Nocera Superiore donated to the Shrine the painting depicting the "Virgo Fidelis", patroness of the Carabinieri Corps, which was displayed on the altar. A sign of love and of spiritual understanding between the affiliations It was a day full of faith and emotions. Sainte Philomène, grand exemple de vertu et de courage. Dès que nous avons franchi le seuil du Sanctuaire de Sainte Philomène, nous avons été envahis par un sentiment de paix et beaucoup de spiritualité. Sous la conduite de Don Giuseppe AUTORINO, nous avons parcouru l'histoire fascinante de cette jeune fille qui vécut au IIIe siècle après J.-C., dont l'existence fut entourée de mystère, mais qui accomplit tant de miracles, comme celui de la bienheureuse Pauline Jaricot et du saint curé d'Ars. Personnellement, je peux dire, et je crois que c'est la pensée de tous ceux qui étaient présents, que Sainte Philomène est un grand exemple de vertu et de courage qui a montré, malgré son jeune âge, tant d'ardeur et d'amour pour Jésus. J'ai été vraiment fasciné et j'invite tout le monde à visiter le sanctuaire qui abrite le petit corps de cette sainte. Au cours de la célébration de la Sainte Messe, l'Association des Carabiniers de Nocera Superiore a fait don au Sanctuaire du tableau de la "Virgo Fidelis", patronne des Carabiniers, qui a été exposé sur l'autel. Un signe d'amour et de compréhension spirituelle entre les objets. Une journée pleine de foi et d'émotions.
